Liberty Global to sell Slovakia operations for €95 million

Liberty Global (NASDAQ: LBTYA, LBTYB, LBTYK) announced an agreement to sell UPC Slovakia to O2 Slovakia, an affiliate of e&PPF Telecom, for approximately €95 million ($110 million).
The transaction values UPC Slovakia at approximately 7 times its estimated 2025 Adjusted EBITDA, according to the company's press release. The deal remains subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.
UPC Slovakia provides television, broadband and telephony services to more than 600,000 households across 80 cities in Slovakia. The company offers internet speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps and operates as one of the largest telecommunications providers in the Slovak Republic.
Liberty Global operates through three business platforms including Liberty Telecom, which provides broadband, video and mobile communications services across Europe. The company's telecom operations serve more than 80 million fixed and mobile connections and generate aggregate revenue of approximately $21.6 billion.
