Leonardo DRS names Sally Wallace as chief operating officer

Leonardo DRS Inc. (NASDAQ: DRS) appointed Sally Wallace as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately, according to a company statement.
Wallace, a 25-year veteran of the defense technology company, previously served as Executive Vice President of Business Operations since 2016. She will report directly to CEO John Baylouny.
"Wallace is a strong leader and a trusted partner. Throughout her tenure at Leonardo DRS, she has been instrumental in driving excellence and business improvement," Baylouny said in the statement.
Before her most recent role, Wallace served as President of the C4ISR Group and held several operational leadership positions across the company since joining in 2002. She holds a Master's degree in business from the University of Chicago, a Master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering physics from Grove City College.
Wallace expressed her commitment to the new role, stating she is "excited to work with our talented team to continue delivering exceptional technology to our national security customers."
Leonardo DRS develops defense technologies and provides multi-domain capabilities including advanced sensing, network computing, force protection, and electric power and propulsion systems for U.S. national security customers and allies.
