Kyivstar acquires Ukraine medicine platform Tabletki.ua for $160 million

VEON Ltd.'s (NASDAQ: VEON) subsidiary Kyivstar Group Ltd. (NASDAQ: KYIV) completed the acquisition of Tabletki.ua for $160 million, payable in Ukrainian hryvna. The transaction was announced and closed on February 10, 2026.

Tabletki.ua operates a digital platform for finding, comparing and reserving medicines at Ukrainian pharmacies. The platform partners with more than 14,000 pharmacies across Ukraine and facilitated an average of 14 million reservations per month in 2025.

The platform recorded gross merchandise value of UAH 57.3 billion ($1.19 billion) for the twelve months ending September 30, 2025, compared to UAH 45 billion ($1.06 billion) in fiscal year 2024. Based on unaudited management accounts, Tabletki.ua generated last twelve months EBITDA of $24 million and net profit of $20 million as of September 30, 2025.

The acquisition price corresponds to a price-to-earnings ratio of 8.0 times based on the last twelve months earnings. The purchase strengthens Kyivstar's healthcare services portfolio, which includes the digital healthcare platform Helsi acquired in 2022.

"Ukrainian businesses like Tabletki.ua are enabling millions of Ukrainians to benefit from convenient, digital-first solutions, supporting the growth and resilience of the country," said Oleksander Komarov, President of Kyivstar.

Kyivstar operates additional digital services including ride-hailing platform Uklon, Kyivstar TV, and the MyKyivstar application. VEON and Kyivstar plan to invest $1 billion in Ukraine between 2023-2027 through infrastructure investments, technological development and strategic acquisitions.
