K Wave Media names Yong Fang as chief financial officer

K Wave Media (NASDAQ: KWM) appointed Yong Fang as chief financial officer, the company announced. Fang previously served as CFO of Baijiayun Group (NASDAQ: RTC) and held finance roles at GigaCloud Technology and Sanergy Group.

The company said Fang has experience helping take two companies public through initial public offerings and reverse takeovers. He began his career as a senior auditor at Marcum LLP.

Fang holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Hunan University, a Master of Science in Accounting and Financial Management from Temple University, and an MBA from Thomas Jefferson University.

"Howard's extensive experience with public companies and global financial management makes him a strong addition to our leadership team," said Ted Kim, CEO of K Wave Media.
