Jaguar Uranium outlines exploration strategy for Argentina, Colombia projects

Jaguar Uranium Corp. (NYSE American: JAGU) announced its 2026 exploration strategy focused on uranium projects in Argentina and Colombia, according to a company press release.

The company plans to prioritize exploration at the Laguna Salada Uranium Project and the historic Huemul Uranium Mine in Argentina. Laguna Salada covers approximately 230,000 hectares and represents one of the largest uranium exploration land packages in Argentina. The Environmental Impact Assessment for the Guanaco area within the project received approval, enabling exploration activities to begin.

Field work at Guanaco is expected to commence in the coming weeks, targeting near-surface uranium mineralization. At Huemul, located in Mendoza Province, Jaguar is preparing to submit its Environmental Baseline Study as part of the permitting process. Huemul is described as a uranium mine with historically reported production.

In Colombia, the company plans to review and re-analyze historic drill core and geological data for the Berlin Project, where significant historic drilling has been completed.

The company received Environmental Impact Assessment approval for the Guanaco Property on March 2, 2026, and entered into a Collaboration Agreement with the Ministry of Energy and Environment of the Province of Mendoza on March 4, 2026.

Jaguar stated its current cash resources are sufficient to support planned exploration activities for approximately two years. IsoEnergy Ltd. (NYSE American: ISOU) is among the company's shareholders.

"Jaguar controls a unique uranium portfolio with district-scale land packages, historic uranium mining districts, and historic exploration data that we believe can accelerate the path to discovery and resource definition," said Luis Ducassi, Executive Chairman.

The company noted that no mineral resources or mineral reserves have been established on any of its properties as of the press release date.
