Instacart partners with 1-800-Flowers.com for nationwide floral delivery

Instacart (NASDAQ: CART) announced a partnership with 1-800-Flowers.com Inc. (NASDAQ: FLWS) to offer floral delivery through the Instacart app across the United States. The collaboration marks Instacart's first nationwide partnership with a dedicated floral retailer.

Customers can order fresh bouquets and gifts from 1-800-Flowers.com through the Instacart app for delivery from more than 700 participating florist locations in the 1-800-Flowers.com network. The service launches ahead of Valentine's Day, with customers able to pre-order specialty bouquets starting February 9 and place same-day orders on February 14 in select markets.

"We are excited to welcome 1-800-Flowers.com to the Instacart App to offer our customers convenient access to fresh flowers, just in time for one of the most important holidays for floral delivery," said Blake Wallace, Vice President of Retail Partnerships at Instacart.

Jon Feldman, Chief Commercial Officer at 1-800-Flowers.com, stated that the partnership "allows us to do that with more speed and greater accessibility than ever before" in helping customers connect through thoughtful gifting.

According to Instacart data from 2025, orders containing combination flower bouquets and fresh cut roses increased by more than 1,000% on February 14 compared to their average order share over a 12-month period. The platform allows customers to schedule floral deliveries up to five days in advance while maintaining on-demand delivery options.

1-800-Flowers.com products will be available on the Instacart app without markup, according to the companies. Customers can access the service through the 1-800-Flowers.com storefront on the Instacart app.
