Innovative Eyewear Inc. (NASDAQ: LUCY) reported securing approximately 40 new optical industry accounts at Vision Expo West 2025, the optical industry trade show held in the United States.
The Miami-based smart eyewear manufacturer, which produces glasses under the Lucyd, Lucyd Armor, Reebok, Eddie Bauer and Nautica brands, announced the new accounts include regional and independent optical retailers. The company also developed a partnership to expand distribution into the UK and met with potential partners in Canada and Latin America.
At the trade show, the company presented previews of upcoming products including the Reebok Powered by Lucyd optical line and the Lucyd Aero prototype. The Reebok optical collection will add six new styles for indoor and outdoor wear to complement eight existing Reebok sunglasses styles.
The company's ANSI-certified Lucyd Armor smart safety glasses received attention from attendees, according to the press release statement. Innovative Eyewear noted increased awareness and interest from optical professionals compared to previous years.
"Upon demonstrating our eyewear, many attendees felt that our frames delivered the smart optical experience that they've been looking to bring to their patients," said Harrison Gross, CEO of Innovative Eyewear.
The company develops and sells Bluetooth-enabled smart glasses that allow users to connect to digital devices. The frames are available in multiple combinations to serve optical market needs.
