Innovative Eyewear Inc. (NASDAQ: LUCY) reported preliminary unaudited sales increased approximately 65% year-over-year in 2025, driven by adoption of its Lucyd Armor smart safety glasses line.
The Miami-based smart eyewear manufacturer secured approximately 40 new optical accounts through participation at industry trade shows including Vision Expo West, MIDO Milan, and SILMO Paris. The company established new partnerships with Reebok.com, Optical Resources Group, Kits.com, and SmartBuyGlasses.
The company's Lucyd Armor product line received safety certifications in the United States, Canada, and European Union markets. The line represents what the company describes as the first smart safety eyewear offering certified protection, photochromic lenses, audio capabilities, and prescription adaptability in a single frame.
Innovative Eyewear facilitated warrant exercises that generated $2.2 million in gross proceeds during 2025. The company made leadership changes, with Konrad Dabrowski transitioning from Co-CFO to Chief AI and Growth Officer, while Oswald Gayle assumed the CFO role.
The company updated its Lucyd app to function as an applet store for smart glasses and hearables, adding a 17-language real-time translation feature and secure walkie functionality. Product additions included Reebok-branded smart sunglasses and expanded Lucyd Armor collection options.
"Our sales and margin performance were built on the rapid adoption of Lucyd Armor, which has become our fastest-selling unit since its late 2024 launch," said CEO Harrison Gross in a statement.
The company established a Canadian presence through partnership with Eye Recommend, exposing products to over 600 independent optical practices. Innovative Eyewear manufactures smart eyewear under the Lucyd, Lucyd Armor, Reebok, Eddie Bauer, and Nautica brands.
