Innovative Eyewear, Inc. (NASDAQ: LUCY) announced the launch of six new styles in its Reebok Powered by Lucyd smart eyewear collection, marking the company's first new prescription eyeglass market offering since December 2024.
The new collection features automatic power controls through a "smart hinge" design that turns the glasses on and off when temples are opened and closed. The frames include touch sensors on the underside of each temple for controlling smartphone voice assistants, volume adjustment, and call management.
Additional features include rubberized nosepads and earpieces, enhanced audio playback compared to previous optical collections, and frames that weigh approximately 1.2 ounces, making them 20% lighter than the Lucyd Lyte 2025 collection. Two models offer slim sizing for narrow-faced adults and young adults.
The frames are available at Lucyd.co and through retail partners including SportRx, the Optimedic Group, and SelectSpecs.com. The collection will be available in early May on Kits.ca and Kits.com.
"This new optical collection is the culmination of nearly a decade of smartglass research and development," said Harrison Gross, CEO of Innovative Eyewear. "We are providing a new frame collection that looks and feels just like regular glasses, while offering a newly refined suite of smart features focused on popular use cases like music, podcasts and voice AI access."
Innovative Eyewear develops smart eyewear under the Lucyd, Lucyd Armor, Reebok, Nautica, and Eddie Bauer brands. The company's Bluetooth audio glasses are offered in hundreds of frame and lens combinations across optical, sunglass, sporting goods and safety eyewear markets.
