I-MAB (NASDAQ: IMAB) announced it has changed its corporate name to NovaBridge Biosciences, with trading under the new ticker symbol "NBP" beginning October 30, 2025. The name change was approved by shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting on October 24, 2025.
The rebrand accompanies the company's strategic transformation into a global biotechnology platform. NovaBridge plans to pursue a dual listing on both NASDAQ and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange through a planned Hong Kong initial public offering, though timing and terms remain undetermined.
Under its new hub-and-spoke business model, NovaBridge formed subsidiary Visara, Inc., which acquired VIS-101, a bifunctional biologic targeting VEGF-A and ANG2 for treating wet age-related macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema. Visara received approximately $37 million in capital from NovaBridge, with NovaBridge maintaining majority ownership.
The company's core asset, givastomig, a Claudin 18.2 X 4-1BB bispecific antibody for gastric cancer, continues development. NovaBridge expects to enroll the first patient in a global randomized Phase 2 study for givastomig in the first quarter of 2026.
NovaBridge's pipeline also includes ragistomig, an anti-PD-L1 X 4-1BB bispecific antibody in Phase 1b trials, and uliledlimab, an anti-CD73 antibody in Phase 2 development for cancer treatment.
"Our new corporate branding successfully conveys the key elements of our new strategy, bridging collaboration, translational science, and execution to rapidly progress transformative therapies," said Executive Chairman Fu Wei.
Current shareholders require no action regarding the name and ticker change, and the company's CUSIP number remains unchanged. The company noted that historical trading data may temporarily appear under the former "I-MAB" designation on some platforms.
