October 27, 2025 4:00 AM EDT

Humanoid Global Holdings Corp. (CSE: ROBO, FWB: 0XM1, OTCQB: RBOHF) announced the appointment of Saman Farid to its investment advisory board. The company operates as a publicly traded investment issuer focused on humanoid robotics and embodied AI companies.

Farid serves as founder and CEO of Formic Technologies Inc., a robotics-as-a-service company that helps manufacturing businesses implement automation solutions. He previously led the global investment fund for Baidu Ventures, focusing on artificial intelligence and machine learning investments. Farid also founded Comet Labs, an AI-focused investment fund and incubator, and has backed more than 40 companies across robotics, computer vision, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and space technologies.

"During my time at Formic, I've helped a significant number of factories automate for the first time, and it appears that we are at a tipping point in robotics adoption into the real world," Farid stated in the company's announcement.

Under the advisory agreement, Farid will provide guidance on investment and capital allocation, including deal origination, investment analysis, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring. The agreement runs for 24 months beginning October 27, 2025, with either party able to terminate at any time.

The company granted Farid 25,000 stock options exercisable at $1.31 per share for three years, with 25% vesting after three months and additional 25% portions vesting quarterly thereafter. He also received 25,000 restricted share units that vest immediately and expire October 27, 2028. Both grants require regulatory approval.

Humanoid Global CEO Shahab Samimi said Farid's experience building Formic and his background at Baidu Ventures would provide valuable insight for the company's robotics investments.
