Holland America Line reports 33% increase in 2026 Europe bookings

Holland America Line reported bookings for its 2026 European cruise season are up more than 33% compared to the same period last year, according to a company statement.

The cruise line, a division of Carnival Corporation (NYSE: CCL), said Northern Europe voyages showed the strongest growth with bookings increasing nearly 50% year over year. The cruises depart from Rotterdam, Netherlands, and Dover, England.

"Given the strong pace of bookings we're seeing and our 'Start Your Journey' Wave promotion underway, I'd recommend anyone considering a summer European cruise book soon," said Dan Rough, vice president of revenue management for Holland America Line.

The 2026 European season includes itineraries visiting more than 175 UNESCO World Heritage sites across 35 countries in the Mediterranean, British Isles, Northern Europe and Canary Islands. The company plans longer port stays and overnight stops in various destinations.

Holland America Line will broadcast all 104 FIFA World Cup matches from June 11 to July 19, 2026, across its fleet through Sport 24 Special Event Channels, with select games shown on larger screens.

Current cruise offerings include a 14-day British Isles voyage starting at $215 per person per day, departing May 30, 2026, and a 7-day Western Mediterranean cruise starting at $181 per person per day, departing August 29, 2026. The company's "Have It All" promotion offers a $25 deposit and free balcony upgrade for bookings.

Holland America Line operates 11 vessels visiting nearly 400 ports in 114 countries.
