Helios Technologies Inc. (NYSE: HLIO) announced that Jeremy Evans has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Evans replaces Michael Connaway, who has been separated from the company.

The company stated that Connaway's departure is not related to any disagreement regarding accounting practices, financial statements, internal controls or operations. Connaway had joined Helios on October 13, 2025.

Evans joined Helios on January 24, 2024, and was promoted to Chief Accounting Officer on September 1, 2025. Prior to joining Helios, he spent 25 years in operational and financial management roles at Tech Data, now TD SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), where he served as Vice President, Accounting Transformation.

Evans holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Math and Spanish from Eckerd College, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sarasota, and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Florida.

"Jeremy has been on our team just shy of two years now and has consistently demonstrated the kind of proven leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and deep relationship-building that moves our organization forward," said Sean Bagan, President and Chief Executive Officer.

In his statement, Evans noted that Helios returned to year-over-year growth in the third quarter. The company has been working on its go-to-market strategy, operational efficiencies, working capital discipline, portfolio optimization and resource allocation.

Helios Technologies develops motion control and electronic controls technology for construction, material handling, agriculture, energy, recreational vehicles, marine and health and wellness markets. The company sells products to customers in over 90 countries and has paid quarterly cash dividends since becoming public in 1997.
