Gray Media expands Telemundo partnership with new affiliate stations

Gray Media (NYSE: GTN) has signed a multi-year affiliation agreement with Telemundo Network, adding new affiliate stations in four markets, according to a company statement.
The expanded partnership adds Telemundo affiliates in Dayton, Ohio (WZCD-LD); Chattanooga, Tennessee (WTVL-CD, WDNN-CD); and Lafayette, Louisiana (KNGC-LD) on Gray-owned stations. Gray's Telemundo portfolio now reaches over 1.6 million Hispanic television households nationwide.
The Atlanta-based multimedia company operates what it describes as the largest Telemundo affiliate group, serving 47 markets. Gray's Telemundo stations produce more than 1,100 hours of local Spanish-language news programming monthly and generate over 50 million digital impressions annually across local news sites and applications.
"This expanded relationship with Telemundo demonstrates Gray's deep commitment to serving this fast-growing viewer and business segment in America," said Susan Sim Oh, senior vice president of strategy and operations of the Gray Telemundo Affiliate Station Group.
Gray Media owns television stations in 113 markets, reaching approximately 37 percent of U.S. television households. The company reports having the top-rated television station in 78 markets and the first or second highest rated station in 99 markets during 2024.
Telemundo Network holds exclusive Spanish-language broadcasting rights for events including the FIFA World Cup 2026 and Super Bowl LX.
