Goldman Sachs BDC prices $400 million bond offering at 5.650%

Goldman Sachs BDC, Inc. (NYSE: GSBD) announced it has priced a $400 million offering of 5.650% unsecured notes due 2030. The notes will mature on September 9, 2030 and may be redeemed in whole or in part at the company's option at any time at par plus a make-whole premium, if applicable.
The business development company stated it intends to use the net proceeds to pay down debt under its revolving credit facility and for general corporate purposes. The 2030 notes are expected to be delivered on or about September 9, 2025, subject to customary closing conditions.
BofA Securities, HSBC Securities (USA), MUFG Securities Americas, SMBC Nikko Securities America, Truist Securities, Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas Securities, CIBC World Markets, ING Financial Markets, Morgan Stanley, Santander US Capital Markets and Goldman Sachs are serving as joint book-running managers for the offering.
ICBC Standard Bank, R. Seelaus & Co., Raymond James & Associates, Wells Fargo Securities and Academy Securities are acting as co-managers.
Goldman Sachs BDC is a specialty finance company regulated as a business development company under the Investment Company Act of 1940. The company was formed by The Goldman Sachs Group to invest primarily in middle-market companies in the United States and is externally managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
The company seeks to generate current income and capital appreciation through direct originations of secured debt, including first lien and second lien debt, and unsecured debt, including mezzanine debt, as well as select equity investments.
