GoldMining names Imola Götz as VP of project development

GoldMining Inc. (TSX: GOLD) (NYSE American: GLDG) announced the appointment of Imola Götz as Vice President, Project Development, according to a company press release.



Götz brings over 30 years of international mining engineering experience in underground and open-pit operations, including work in Ontario's Hemlo and Timmins gold mining regions. She previously held leadership positions at Goldcorp, Newmont, Eldorado Gold, Sandstorm Gold Royalties, Horizon Copper, and Royal Gold.



In her new role, Götz will oversee advancement and development of engineering, procurement, construction management and project controls across GoldMining's resource-stage assets in the Americas. The company maintains a portfolio of gold and gold-copper projects in Canada, the United States, Brazil, Colombia, and Peru.



Götz holds Professional Engineer licensing in British Columbia and is a Fellow of the Association of Engineers Canada. She is qualified as a "Qualified Person" under Canadian National Instrument 43-101 standards. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and General Science from Lakehead University, a Master of Science in Mine Engineering from the Technical University of Petrosani, and a Financial Agility Diploma from Queens University.
