GoGo AI appoints Padma Shri recipient to portfolio company board

GoGo AI Network Inc. (CSE: GOGO) announced that Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, a recipient of India's Padma Shri award, has joined the global advisory board of Algo8 AI, one of the company's portfolio companies.

Prof. Sharma serves as Institute Chair Professor at IIT Kanpur and previously held the position of Secretary at India's Department of Science & Technology. In that role, he contributed to building national research infrastructure and developing frameworks for industry-academia collaboration.

The appointment is part of Algo8's strategy to develop industrial AI systems focused on reliability and energy efficiency. The company operates in asset-intensive industries and aims to expand across North America and other global markets.

"Prof. Sharma's career represents the integration of science, policy, institutions, and industry," said Nandan Mishra, Co-Founder and CEO of Algo8 AI. "His experience building research ecosystems, enabling industry-academia collaboration, and translating innovation into real-world systems will help us scale responsibly."

Under his advisory role, priorities will include structured research and development programs, industry-academia partnerships, and governance frameworks for AI deployment. The company plans to embed sustainability measures into its platform design rather than treating environmental, social and governance factors as separate compliance requirements.
