GlobalLogic names LuJean Smith as chief marketing officer
GlobalLogic Inc., a Hitachi Group company, appointed LuJean Smith as chief marketing officer, effective January 6. The Santa Clara, California-based digital engineering company said Smith brings 30 years of global marketing leadership experience in the technology and consulting sectors.
Smith will lead GlobalLogic's global marketing strategy and oversee the development of multi-channel campaigns. Her role includes showcasing GlobalLogic VelocityAI, the company's AI-powered service offerings, and highlighting the company's integration within the Hitachi Group.
"LuJean is a proven strategist and an award-winning, transformative leader whose extensive experience will be invaluable as we continue to scale our impact," said Srini Shankar, president and CEO of GlobalLogic.
Smith's career spans senior marketing and communications positions at technology and consulting firms including GE, Siemens, Accenture and Cognizant. Her experience focuses on positioning organizations for market leadership and translating innovation into customer value.
The appointment comes as GlobalLogic works to advance Hitachi's "Inspire 2027" strategic priorities. GlobalLogic operates as a digital engineering partner, helping companies design AI-powered products and platforms.
Hitachi Ltd. trades on the Tokyo Stock Exchange under ticker 6501. The company acquired GlobalLogic to strengthen its digital engineering capabilities and expand its social innovation business focused on AI and technology solutions.
