General Mills Inc. (NYSE: GIS) announced the election of Joan Bottarini to its board of directors, effective Jan. 26, 2026. Bottarini currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H).
Bottarini has held her current position at Hyatt since 2018 and previously served as the company's Senior Vice President, Finance, Americas. Before joining Hyatt, she worked as Controller – Development at Essex Property Trust (NYSE: ESS) and as an Assurance Manager at KPMG LLP.
The General Mills board also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.61 per share, payable May 1, 2026, to shareholders of record as of April 10, 2026. The company stated that General Mills and its predecessor company have paid dividends without interruption for 127 years.
General Mills reported fiscal 2025 net sales of $19 billion, with an additional $1 billion in share of non-consolidated joint venture net sales. The Minneapolis-based company's portfolio includes brands such as Cheerios, Nature Valley, Blue Buffalo, Häagen-Dazs, and Pillsbury.
