Firstsource Solutions Limited (NSE: FSL) (BSE: 532809) announced the appointment of Matthew Barlow as Head of Healthcare Payer business and Scott Schrader as Head of Healthcare Provider business, effective December 15, 2025.

Barlow joins from Avasant, where he served as Managing Partner, Healthcare Advisory. He brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare and technology operations, having previously held leadership roles at HealthComp as Chief Operating Officer and at Cognizant as Head of Healthcare BPO Markets.

Schrader has over two decades of experience in healthcare technology and revenue cycle management. He most recently served as President and Chief Commercial Officer at Pendrick Capital Partners and previously held senior roles at RevenueMed, Access Healthcare Services, and Change Healthcare.

The Mumbai-based business process management services provider created the two separate leadership roles to focus on the distinct needs of healthcare payers and providers. Both executives will report to Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Ritesh Idnani and will lead strategy, growth, and client success for their respective portfolios.

"Healthcare payers and providers are at very different stages of their transformation journeys, but both are navigating the same pressures—rising costs, regulatory complexity, workforce constraints, and the need to deliver better experiences and outcomes," Idnani stated.

The company serves over 1,000 hospitals and 30,000 providers, handling more than 2 billion transactions annually according to the press release. As part of this transition, Venkatgiri Vandali, who led the Healthcare business for six years, will pursue entrepreneurial opportunities and assist with the leadership handover.

Firstsource operates across multiple countries including the US, UK, India, Philippines, Mexico, Romania, Turkey, Trinidad & Tobago, South Africa, and Australia.
