Eutelsat (Euronext Paris/London Stock Exchange: ETL) announced the appointment of Sébastien Rouge as chief financial officer and member of the Group's Executive Committee, effective February 1, 2026.

Rouge joins from Imerys, where he served as CFO. He previously held CFO positions at Soitec, a semiconductor materials company, and senior finance roles at Alstom Group and GE Group, including CEO of the GE-Alstom Nuclear Systems joint venture and CFO of Steam Power Systems within GE Power. Rouge is a graduate of EDHEC Business School.

He will succeed Christophe Caudrelier, who is stepping down after three years as CFO. Caudrelier will work with Rouge to ensure a smooth transition, according to the press release.

"Sébastien's deep financial expertise and leadership across complex industrial organizations make him a valuable addition to Eutelsat's management team," said CEO Jean-François Fallacher in a statement. "His stewardship will be key in supporting the Group's strategic and operational roadmap, while ensuring strong financial performance across the business and delivering sustainable value for all stakeholders."

Fallacher thanked Caudrelier for his role in supporting Eutelsat through its telecom pivot and merger with OneWeb, helping strengthen the company's financial foundations during the transformation period.

Eutelsat operates as a satellite communications provider with a fleet of 34 geostationary satellites and more than 600 low Earth orbit satellites following its 2023 merger with OneWeb. The company distributes approximately 6,400 television channels and serves mobile connectivity, fixed connectivity, and government services markets.
