Erdene publishes 2026 shareholder letter, schedules annual meeting

Erdene Resource Development Corp. (TSX: ERD; MSE: ERDN; OTCQX: ERDCF) published its 2026 shareholder letter and announced its annual meeting date, according to a company statement.

The letter, authored by President and CEO Peter Akerley, discusses the commissioning of the Bayan Khundii Gold Mine. "Last year Erdene achieved its vision of developing a high-grade gold mine with the commissioning of the Bayan Khundii Gold Mine," Akerley stated. "This milestone comes only ten years after our geologists discovered high-grade gold at surface."

The company will hold its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders on May 28, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Atlantic time in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The meeting will be accessible via webcast for shareholders unable to attend in person. A replay will be available for one year following the event.

Akerley noted the company's position following the mine's cash flow generation: "With the Bayan Khundii mine generating cash flow, we are positioned to aggressively advance exploration and development of the broader Khundii Minerals District."

Erdene operates the Bayan Khundii Gold Mine in Mongolia and maintains interests in precious and base metal projects in the surrounding Khundii Minerals District. The company trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange, Mongolian Stock Exchange, and OTCQX Market.
