EnWave signs license and equipment deal with Ireland's Teagasc

EnWave Corporation (TSX-V: ENW) announced it has signed a license agreement and equipment purchase agreement with Teagasc, Ireland's Agriculture and Food Development Authority.

The license grants Teagasc research and development rights to use EnWave's Radiant Energy Vacuum dehydration technology with its clients and industry partners. Teagasc also purchased a 10kW REV machine, which is expected to be delivered before summer 2026.

Teagasc will use the REV technology to support its AIMBIO project, which aims to transform side-streams from Ireland's marine and aquatic sectors into high-value ingredients for food, feed, cosmetics, and chemicals. The technology will enable rapid, energy-efficient drying of marine and aquaculture side-streams before further processing.

The AIMBIO project received funding from Ireland's Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. It brings together academic, research, and industry stakeholders to demonstrate how marine processing waste can be converted into valuable products.

EnWave specializes in vacuum microwave dehydration technology and has more than 50 partners across 24 countries. The company licenses its REV technology to food producers and other industries for drying applications.
