November 14, 2025 7:31 AM EST

Edible Garden AG Incorporated (NASDAQ: EDBL, EDBLW) reported revenue of $2.8 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2025, representing a 9% increase from $2.6 million in the same period last year. The controlled environment agriculture company attributed the growth to strong performance in its shelf-stable product portfolio.

Non-perishable unit sales increased 49.3% year-over-year, driven by products including Kick Sports Nutrition, Pickle Party, Pulp, and Vitamin Whey. Private label products sold through major retailers climbed 15.1% compared to the prior year quarter.

The company reported notable same-store sales increases in fresh products: hydroponic basil up 28.6%, potted herbs up 22.6%, and wheatgrass up 59.2%. International vitamin and supplements revenue rose 90.2% year-over-year.

Despite revenue growth, gross profit declined to $0.3 million from $0.7 million in the third quarter of 2024, reflecting higher labor, freight, and raw material costs. Selling, general and administrative expenses increased to $3.8 million from $2.2 million, primarily due to higher depreciation expenses related to assets purchased from Natural Shrimp.

The company posted a net loss of $4.0 million, compared to a $2.1 million loss in the same quarter last year. For the nine months ended September 30, 2025, revenue totaled $8.7 million versus $10.0 million in the prior year period, with a net loss of $11.4 million.

Edible Garden expanded its retail footprint during the quarter, launching its USDA Organic fresh herb line at Kroger and introducing branded herbs at The Fresh Market. The company refinanced its outstanding debt, securing more favorable terms expected to reduce annual interest expense.
