EXL partners with Sonos and AWS on AI service management project

EXL (NASDAQ: EXLS) announced a collaboration with Sonos (NASDAQ: SONO) and Amazon Web Services to implement agentic AI technology in Sonos' IT service management workflows, according to a company statement.

The initiative integrates AI automation into Sonos' IT support operations to streamline decision-making processes and enhance workflow efficiency. The collaboration combines EXL's AI expertise with AWS cloud infrastructure to support Sonos' IT service management transformation.

"Our collaboration with EXL and AWS has been instrumental in enhancing our ITSM processes," said Jim Hauser, head of IT infrastructure at Sonos. "The innovative agentic AI solution developed through this collaboration not only streamlines our operations but also enhances the experience we deliver to our customers."

The deployment focuses on automating IT service management functions and implementing proactive issue prevention capabilities within Sonos' enterprise systems. EXL serves as the AI solutions provider while AWS supplies the underlying cloud infrastructure for the project.

Chris Sullivan, vice president at AWS, noted that IT service management represents a function positioned to benefit from agentic AI implementation. The project utilizes AWS's AI services alongside EXL's technical expertise to support the deployment.

EXL operates as a global data and AI services company with approximately 61,000 employees. Sonos manufactures audio equipment and serves more than 17 million households across 60 countries.
