Dragonfly Energy receives $3 million order from Stevens Transport

April 20, 2026 7:30 AM EDT

Dragonfly Energy Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: DFLI) announced that Stevens Transport has placed a purchase order valued at over $3 million for lithium battery systems to be delivered throughout 2026. The order covers nearly 500 trucks and spans the company's complete heavy-duty trucking product portfolio.

The order includes Battle Born DualFlow Power Pack systems, All-Electric APU units, and inverters designed to reduce engine idling and power sleeper cab loads. Stevens Transport will deploy these lithium-based systems across multiple truck configurations as part of what Dragonfly Energy describes as one of its largest single-fleet adoptions to date.

"Fleet operators are under continued pressure to reduce operating costs while improving reliability and driver experience," said Denis Phares, chief executive officer of Dragonfly Energy. "Our solutions are engineered to meet those needs, and we believe this level of commitment demonstrates growing confidence in lithium-based hybrid electrification solutions across the trucking industry."

Clay Aaron, president of Stevens Transport, said the decision to expand to Dragonfly Energy's full product suite followed successful performance testing across their fleet. "In a year when every capital dollar counts, these systems are delivering the fuel savings, uptime, and driver satisfaction that justify the investment," Aaron stated.

The systems are designed to power hotel loads without engine idling, potentially reducing fuel consumption and maintenance costs associated with traditional diesel-powered auxiliary power units. Deliveries are scheduled throughout 2026 across Stevens Transport's fleet operations.

Dragonfly Energy, based in Reno, Nevada, manufactures lithium battery technology through its Battle Born Batteries brand and operates in energy storage systems, electric vehicles, and consumer electronics markets.
