Draganfly Inc. (NASDAQ: DPRO) announced a partnership with Global Ordnance, a U.S. Defense Logistics Agency prime contractor, to accelerate adoption of Draganfly's unmanned aerial systems in U.S. defense markets.
Under the agreement, Global Ordnance will serve as a U.S. defense partner for Draganfly's drone platforms and related solutions. The companies will collaborate on manufacturing support, supply chain integration, and mission-specific capabilities for U.S. and allied defense applications.
Global Ordnance, headquartered in Sarasota and Tampa, Florida, supplies defense and security solutions to U.S. and allied armed forces through its subsidiaries Global Military Products and Mountain Horse Solutions.
Draganfly's Commander 3XL and Flex FPV drones have been adopted by branches of the U.S. Department of Defense and international defense organizations. The partnership combines Global Ordnance's defense contracting expertise with Draganfly's drone technology for U.S. market access and regulatory compliance.
"We are thrilled to join forces with Global Ordnance as a leading defense provider," said Cameron Chell, CEO of Draganfly. "Their track record in U.S. defense, logistics, and mission support complements Draganfly's capabilities in advanced autonomy systems and defense-grade UAS manufacturing."
Marc Morales, CEO of Global Ordnance, said the partnership enables the company to expand into unmanned systems technology.
The announcement comes as Market Research Future Analysis projects the global military drone market will reach $30.5 billion by 2035, growing from $13.42 billion in 2023 at a compound annual growth rate of 7.09% from 2025 to 2035.
