Discovery Silver appoints Lee Hodgkinson to board of directors
Discovery Silver Corp. (TSX: DSV, OTCQX: DSVSF) announced the immediate appointment of Lee Hodgkinson to its board of directors.
Hodgkinson brings over 25 years of experience as a partner in public accounting and auditing with a focus on the mining industry. He served as National Industry Leader of KPMG LLP's Canadian Mining Practice for more than 20 years and as Director of KPMG's Global Mining group for over a decade. He has worked as principal audit engagement partner for several Canadian mining companies and completed his ICD.D. from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Business.
"I am honored to be appointed as a Board member of Discovery," Hodgkinson stated. "I look forward to working closing with the other directors and the leadership team as Discovery continues to execute its near and long term growth strategies."
Tony Makuch, Discovery's President and CEO, said the company is pleased to welcome Hodgkinson to the board, citing his experience in mining, global finance and governance.
Discovery Silver operates precious metals projects including the Cordero silver project in Chihuahua State, Mexico, and the Porcupine Complex gold operations in Ontario, Canada, which it acquired in April 2025.
