Uber Technologies Inc. (NYSE: UBER) and Designer Brands Inc. (NYSE: DBI) announced a partnership that makes DSW footwear and accessories available for delivery through the Uber Eats platform. Nearly 500 DSW stores across the contiguous United States are now accessible through the app.
Customers can order shoes, accessories, and seasonal items from DSW's inventory through Uber Eats for on-demand or scheduled delivery. The service includes brands such as Steve Madden, Adidas, Blundstone, and Goodr across men's, women's, and children's categories. Orders can be delivered in as little as one hour.
Uber One members receive $0 delivery fees on eligible orders. The partnership expands Uber Eats' retail offerings beyond its existing selection of household, fashion, beauty, and personal care items.
"Style emergencies are real—and with DSW on Uber Eats, we're making it easier than ever to look and feel your best, fast," said Hashim Amin, Head of Retail for North America at Uber.
The service operates through the Uber Eats app's retail category, where users can search for DSW, browse available items, and place orders for delivery. Real-time order tracking is available through the app.
DSW operates approximately 525 stores in the U.S. and Canada and is the flagship retail brand of Designer Brands Inc. The company was founded in 1991 and offers dress, casual, and athletic footwear and accessories.
The information is based on a joint press release from the companies.
