CommScope stockholders approve sale of cable unit to Amphenol

CommScope Holding Company, Inc. (NASDAQ: COMM) announced that stockholders approved the proposed sale of its Connectivity and Cable Solutions business to Amphenol Corporation (NYSE: APH). The transaction received approval from holders of 70% of the company's outstanding stock as of the September 8, 2025 record date.
The vote took place at a special meeting of stockholders. The proposed sale required approval from holders of a majority of the outstanding stock, with shares of common stock and Series A Preferred Stock voting together as a single class on an as-converted basis.
CommScope describes itself as a provider of network connectivity solutions. The company is based in Claremont, North Carolina.
