Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH) announced an expanded partnership with Rubrik (NYSE: RBRK) to provide Business Resilience-as-a-Service for mutual customers. The offering uses a subscription-based, pay-as-you-go model designed to help enterprises recover from cyber incidents and ransomware attacks.
The service combines Rubrik's cyber resilience platform with Cognizant's domain expertise to deliver solutions aimed at supporting compliance objectives and business resilience. The partnership addresses growing cybersecurity challenges as organizations adopt AI technologies that expand attack surfaces.
"The relentless pace of cyberattacks demands a fundamental shift from simple prevention to true resilience," said Bipul Sinha, CEO of Rubrik. "Bringing together Rubrik's AI and security platform with Cognizant's global delivery scale, our joint customers can quickly recover from cyber incidents with confidence."
Ravi Kumar S, CEO of Cognizant, stated the partnership helps clients "move from reactive recovery to proactive resilience" by combining Cognizant's cloud infrastructure knowledge with Rubrik's security platform.
The service incorporates Rubrik's Agent Rewind technology, which provides capabilities to mitigate AI agent risk by allowing enterprises to undo destructive agent actions. This addresses risks associated with AI adoption, including data integrity threats and operational continuity challenges.
The offering integrates with Cognizant's Neuro AI platform, which features multi-agent orchestration and industry-specific AI solutions. The companies aim to provide data protection and rapid recovery capabilities as enterprises increase their use of AI technologies.
The announcement was made on October 27, 2025, from Teaneck, New Jersey and Palo Alto, California, according to the press release statement.
