Clearmind Medicine Inc. (NASDAQ: CMND) announced the publication of an international patent application for a combination therapy targeting obesity and metabolic syndrome. The patent application was published under the European Patent Office as part of the company's collaboration with SciSparc Ltd. (NASDAQ: SPRC).

The patent covers a combination therapy using Clearmind's 5-methoxy-2-aminoindane (MEAI) and SciSparc's Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) for treating metabolic syndrome and obesity. The partnership focuses on developing therapies that combine neuroplastogen molecules with N-acylethanolamines to address mental health disorders, addictions, and metabolic conditions.

"We continue our strategy to develop breakthrough therapies to treat complex health conditions, with our intellectual property portfolio enabling us to potentially redefine therapeutic approaches for metabolic syndrome and obesity," stated Dr. Adi Zuloff-Shani, CEO of Clearmind.

Clearmind is a clinical-stage biotech company focused on psychedelic-derived therapeutics. The company's intellectual property portfolio includes 19 patent families with 31 granted patents. Clearmind shares trade on NASDAQ under the symbol CMND and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under CWY0.
