Cipher Mining produces 251 bitcoin in September, holds 1,500

Cipher Mining Inc. (NASDAQ: CIFR) reported producing 251 bitcoin in September 2025, according to the company's operational update released October 7.
The bitcoin mining company sold 158 bitcoin during the month and ended September with a balance of 1,500 bitcoin. The company operates 114,000 deployed mining rigs with a month-end operating hashrate of 23.6 exahash per second.
Cipher's Black Pearl Phase I facility reached full completion in September following the deployment of latest-generation mining rigs. The facility now delivers approximately 10.1 exahash per second of self-mining hashrate.
The September bitcoin production figure includes power sales estimates equivalent to approximately 7 bitcoin and 19 bitcoin mined at joint venture data centers representing Cipher's ownership stake. These estimates are based on current meter data and nodal prices, using a month-end bitcoin price of $114,212.
The company reported a month-end fleet efficiency of 16.8 joules per terahash. Cipher stated it continues to focus on the high-performance computing side of its business following completion of previously outlined mining plans.
Construction work is underway at the company's Barber Lake facility, according to the operational update.
