Chime partners with Workday to offer financial wellness benefits

Chime (NASDAQ: CHYM) announced a partnership with Workday (NASDAQ: WDAY) to integrate financial wellness services into employee benefit programs. The collaboration will make Chime Workplace, a financial wellness platform, available through Workday Wellness for employers to offer their workforce.

The partnership allows Workday customers to provide employees access to Chime's financial services, including money management, savings accounts, and credit building tools. Employers will receive analytics on employee financial wellness through the Chime Workplace dashboard.

"Employees today are increasingly looking to their employers for competitive financial wellness benefits," said Cristina Goldt, general manager of HCM, workforce management and payroll at Workday. The integration aims to help employees manage money, build credit, and save through existing HR systems.

Chime reports having more than 8.7 million members and expanded into enterprise services in 2024. According to the company, 97% of members say Chime has helped with at least one aspect of financial progress, based on a survey of 35,000 active members conducted in July 2024.

"Employers are increasingly seeking holistic, no-cost financial wellness solutions that serve every employee," said Jason Lee, Chief of Chime Enterprise. The service will be accessible through Workday's Employer Benefits Selection Portal.

Both Chime Workplace and Workday Wellness received recognition as 2025 Top HR Products of the Year by HR Executive and HR Tech conference. The partnership reflects growing employer demand for comprehensive financial wellness solutions integrated into existing benefit structures.
