Callaway Golf launches Quantum club lineup with new face technology

Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: CALY) announced the launch of its Quantum family of golf clubs, featuring drivers, fairway woods, irons, and hybrids. The new lineup introduces what the company describes as a Tri-Force Face technology in its drivers, combining titanium, poly mesh, and carbon fiber materials.

The Quantum Drivers feature the multi-material face construction that layers the three distinct materials into what Callaway calls an integrated speed system. The titanium provides the base layer, military-grade polymer serves as a binding agent, and carbon fiber reinforces the face structure to allow for greater flex and faster recovery.

Callaway's artificial intelligence modeling optimizes each portion of the driver face for speed, launch, and spin consistency based on player impact patterns. The drivers are available in five models: Max, Max Fast, Max D, Triple Diamond, and Triple Diamond Max.

The Quantum Fairway Woods and Hybrids incorporate Speed Wave 2.0 technology, which positions mass low and forward to increase ball speeds while maintaining consistent launch conditions. These clubs feature a Step Sole Design intended to reduce turf contact and promote center-face strikes.

Quantum Irons utilize what the company calls a Modern 360 Undercut cavity design. The two-piece construction provides perimeter weighting and an exposed undercut for added face flex. The irons include a Progressive Tri-Sole Design that adapts from long irons to wedges for different turf interactions.

"We've engineered this new lineup to provide a true Quantum leap for golfers," said Brian Williams, Callaway Vice President of R&D. "This is especially evident in the Tri-Force Face for our drivers, which is the first face ever to combine these 3 exceptional materials into one design for incredible ball speed and distance."

The Quantum Drivers, Fairway Woods, and Hybrids will be available at U.S. retail starting February 13, while Irons will be available February 27. Pricing starts at $649.99 for drivers, $399.99 for fairway woods, $349.99 for hybrids, and $1,149.99 for a seven-piece iron set.
