CVRx Inc. (NASDAQ: CVRX) announced the nomination of Michael Dale to its board of directors, with his election scheduled for the company's annual stockholder meeting on June 1, 2026.
Dale currently serves as chief executive officer, president and board member of Axogen Inc. (NASDAQ: AXGN), a regenerative medicine company focused on peripheral nerve repair. He has held this position since August 2024.
Prior to his current role, Dale led Abbott's structural heart division for eight years and previously served as president and chief executive officer of GI Dynamics Inc. His earlier experience includes executive positions at multiple medical device companies including Helical Solutions Inc., ATS Medical Inc., Endocardial Solutions Inc., Cyberonics Inc., St. Jude Medical Inc., and American Edwards Laboratories.
Dale currently serves on the advisory board of Purdue University's Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering and on the board of directors of BiomimedX Inc. He previously held director roles at several companies including Preceptis Medical Inc., NeoChord Inc., Neuronetics Inc., and Rhythmia Medical Inc. Dale holds a bachelor's degree from California Polytechnic State University.
CVRx develops neuromodulation solutions for cardiovascular diseases. The company's Barostim device is approved by the FDA for heart failure treatment and holds CE Mark approval in the European Economic Area for heart failure and resistant hypertension.
