CVR Partners (NYSE: UAN) announced preliminary financial estimates for the fourth quarter and full year 2025, reporting operational challenges at its Coffeyville facility that affected production timing.

The nitrogen fertilizer producer completed a planned turnaround at its Coffeyville facility in early November as scheduled. The subsequent startup was delayed by several weeks due to downtime at a third-party owned air separation unit, according to Chief Executive Officer Mark Pytosh.

For the fourth quarter 2025, the company estimates net losses between $7 million and $14 million, with EBITDA ranging from $15 million to $25 million. Ammonia utilization rates for the quarter are projected between 60% and 65%.

Full-year 2025 results show stronger performance, with estimated net income between $95 million and $102 million and EBITDA ranging from $206 million to $216 million. Annual ammonia utilization rates are expected between 87% and 89%.

The company reported cash and cash equivalents between $65 million and $75 million, with total long-term debt and finance lease obligations ranging from $550 million to $600 million.

CVR Partners noted strong demand for nitrogen fertilizers in the fourth quarter, with pricing remaining stable as inventories stayed tight amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.

The preliminary estimates are subject to completion of financial statements and the annual audit. CVR Partners operates nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing facilities in Coffeyville, Kansas, and East Dubuque, Illinois, producing urea ammonium nitrate and ammonia primarily for agricultural use.
