CEA Industries appoints Glenn Tyranski to board of directors

CEA Industries Inc. (NASDAQ: BNC) announced the appointment of Glenn W. Tyranski to its board of directors, effective immediately. The appointment follows a search by the company's Nominating & Governance Committee for qualified independent directors.



Tyranski brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate governance, investor relations, financial reporting and regulatory compliance. He previously held executive positions at The New York Stock Exchange and worked at consulting firms including FTI Consulting, Ernst & Young and KPMG.



Currently, Tyranski serves as a partner at WWC, P.C., an international public accounting firm, and holds teaching positions at King's College and Long Island University. At NYSE, he served as Senior Vice President of Financial Compliance at NYSE Regulation, where he oversaw listing compliance for more than 2,500 companies.



"His understanding of finance, accounting and regulatory compliance adds critical expertise to the Board as we continue our growth as a public company and advance our BNB treasury strategy," said Tony McDonald, Chairman and President, according to the company's statement.



Tyranski stated his intention to apply his experience to the company's challenges and opportunities while providing oversight as the company works to deliver shareholder value.



The board now consists of six directors, with half joining within the previous five months. CEA Industries manages what it describes as the world's largest corporate treasury of BNB and operates businesses in consumer markets.



Tyranski holds a master's degree in Health Care Administration and a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Computer & Information Systems from King's College. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York State.
