Bridger Aerospace wins $18.6 million Alaska transport contract

March 3, 2026 8:05 AM EST

Bridger Aerospace Group Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BAER, BAERW) announced it secured a five-year contract worth $18.6 million to provide fixed-wing transportation services in Alaska for the U.S. Department of Interior and other federal agencies.

The multiple-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract covers on-call personnel and cargo transportation services to support federal agency operations in Alaska on an as-needed basis. The contract runs from April 1, 2026, through March 2031.

The Belgrade, Montana-based aerial firefighting company will use its light fixed-wing aircraft fleet to provide access to remote Alaska locations when required by mission needs. CEO Sam Davis stated the contract represents the company's role as a partner to state and federal customers and should increase fleet utilization.

Bridger noted the $18.6 million contract value represents an estimate rather than guaranteed future revenue. The company provides aerial firefighting and wildfire management services to government agencies including the U.S. Forest Service domestically and internationally.

The announcement was made in a press release statement from the company.
