Bridger Aerospace names Bill Andrews as chief operating officer

Bridger Aerospace Group Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BAER, BAERW) appointed Adolphus "Bill" Andrews as Chief Operating Officer effective March 2nd, according to a company statement. The Belgrade, Montana-based aerial firefighting company said Andrews will oversee operational functions across its fleet, maintenance, and mission support organizations.



Andrews brings more than 30 years of aerospace and aviation experience from his tenure at Lockheed Martin, where he served as Vice President and Executive Program Manager for Mobility Programs. In that role, he managed a portfolio exceeding $2 billion and led domestic C-130, C-5, and P-3 aircraft programs through development, production, and maintenance phases.



The executive previously held senior leadership positions at Lockheed Martin overseeing worldwide field operations supporting aircraft across more than 110 bases, including F-16, F-22, F-35, C-5, and C-130 fleets. He led organizations of more than 1,000 personnel across multiple states and countries.



Andrews served in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard as a C-130 Evaluator Pilot and Aircraft Commander, participating in combat, humanitarian, counterdrug, and firefighting missions. He holds a Master of Science in Systems and Project Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy.

The appointment follows Bridger's recent hiring of Anne Hayes as Chief Financial Officer. Bridger Aerospace provides aerial firefighting and wildfire management services to federal and state government agencies, including the United States Forest Service.
