Bridger Aerospace Group Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BAER) completed a $49 million sale-leaseback transaction of its headquarters and hangar facilities at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport in Belgrade, Montana, according to a company statement.

The aerial firefighting company sold the facilities to SR Aviation Infrastructure, a subsidiary of real estate investment firm SomeraRoad. Bridger entered into a 10-year lease agreement to continue operating from the same location.

The transaction involves Bridger's headquarters and hangar facilities, which serve as a base for the company's aerial firefighting operations. The company expects to report a gain on the sale in the fourth quarter of 2025.

"This is much more than a real estate deal," said Sam Davis, Bridger's CEO. "It's a turning point for the Company. Leveraging the value of our real estate enhances our financial flexibility, provides capital to prioritize fleet expansion, and equips us to deliver on new contracts."

SR Aviation Infrastructure focuses on acquiring, developing and leasing aviation-related real estate including hangar facilities. The Bridger transaction represents the platform's third acquisition, following properties in Las Vegas and San Antonio.

Bridger provides aerial firefighting services to federal and state government agencies, including the United States Forest Service, across the nation and internationally. The company is based in Belgrade, Montana.

The transaction allows Bridger to maintain its operational base while providing capital for fleet expansion to support new contracts with state, federal and military contractors.
