Boot Barn Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BOOT) announced it has extended its exclusive partnership with Affirm Inc. (NASDAQ: AFRM) for pay-over-time services across its retail operations.
The multi-year renewal allows customers to continue using Affirm's payment options both online and at more than 450 Boot Barn locations nationwide. The agreement covers Boot Barn's three brands: Boot Barn, Sheplers, and Country Outfitter.
Under the arrangement, customers can access Affirm's payment plans through the Affirm mobile app for in-store purchases or select the option during online checkout. Approved customers receive customized biweekly or monthly payment plans starting at 0% APR with options extending up to 24 months.
"Providing our consumers with a seamless shopping experience and flexible payment options is extremely important to our team," said Jon Kosoff, Chief Digital Officer at Boot Barn. "Given the success of our partnership with Affirm — particularly their ability to offer a range of plans tailored to our consumers' needs, including longer-term options — extending the relationship was a natural next step."
Pat Suh, SVP of Revenue at Affirm, said the partnership extension "reflects the long-term trust we've built together." Affirm states it does not charge late fees, hidden fees, or compounding interest on its payment plans.
Boot Barn operates 474 stores across 49 states and maintains e-commerce operations through multiple websites. Affirm works with nearly 360,000 retail partners, according to the company's statement.
