Boeing partners with Palantir to integrate AI across defense operations

Boeing Defense, Space & Security announced a partnership with Palantir Technologies to integrate artificial intelligence systems across its defense manufacturing operations and classified programs.
The collaboration will utilize Palantir's Foundry platform to standardize data analytics across Boeing's defense factories. Boeing Defense, Space & Security operates more than a dozen major production lines manufacturing military aircraft, helicopters, satellites, spacecraft, missiles and weapons.
"Palantir is on the cutting edge when it comes to leveraging Artificial Intelligence to accelerate getting critical products, services and capabilities in the hands of military operators," said Steve Parker, CEO of Boeing Defense, Space & Security.
The partnership extends to undisclosed classified and proprietary efforts supporting military customers' sensitive missions. Palantir will provide AI expertise and capabilities for these programs.
Mike Gallagher, Palantir's Head of Defense, stated the partnership will "turbocharge production and innovation, allowing Boeing and Palantir to bring cutting-edge technology to current and next-generation defense programs."
The companies announced the partnership at the annual Air, Space & Cyber Conference. Boeing trades on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker NYSE: BA, while Palantir trades on NASDAQ under ticker NASDAQ: PLTR.
The collaboration aims to streamline operations across Boeing's geographically dispersed defense manufacturing facilities through AI-driven data unification and analytics.
