Blaize appoints Stephen Patak as chief revenue officer
Blaize Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BZAI, NASDAQ: BZAIW) announced the appointment of Stephen Patak as Chief Revenue Officer. Patak will lead the company's global revenue and go-to-market execution as the AI infrastructure provider expands deployments across public and private sector markets.
The company stated that its AI platform has progressed from proof-of-concept into early customer deployments and design wins. Blaize characterized the CRO appointment as part of its investment in strengthening commercial leadership to support growth and expansion.
Patak brings more than 25 years of experience in building sales and partner organizations for infrastructure and enterprise technology companies. He most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at Nile, where he scaled secure, AI-powered networking delivered as a service. His previous roles included senior revenue positions at Ubicquia and Extreme Networks, plus 15 years at Cisco in sales leadership roles across the U.S. and Asia Pacific.
"As AI moves from the data center into real-world environments, customers face new operational realities such as uptime, integration with existing systems, and how those systems perform over time," said Dinakar Munagala, Co-founder and CEO of Blaize.
Patak stated that he was attracted to Blaize because of the opportunity to help scale a company moving AI from concept into real-world deployment. He noted that Blaize works with cloud service providers, AI cloud operators, and infrastructure partners across public and private sectors.
Blaize provides programmable processor architecture and software platforms for AI processing solutions in edge computing and data centers. The El Dorado Hills, California-based company has more than 220 employees worldwide.
