Blaize and Winmate demonstrate rugged edge AI solutions at COMPUTEX 2026

June 1, 2026 2:50 AM EDT

Blaize Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BZAI) and Winmate Inc. announced they will jointly demonstrate integrated rugged edge AI solutions at COMPUTEX 2026 in Taipei from June 2-5.

The collaboration follows the companies' debut at the Michigan Defense Expo in Detroit. At COMPUTEX, they will showcase how Blaize's programmable GSP-based AI acceleration integrates into Winmate's rugged platforms for real-time inference in unmanned systems, patrol vehicles, field operations, and industrial mobility platforms.

The companies are exploring solution architectures and evaluating opportunities across industrial and rugged computing markets, focusing on scalable business models with off-the-shelf integration paths. Any commercial structures would be determined under future agreements.

Winmate selected Blaize following a technical evaluation that qualified the Blaize architecture for power efficiency, thermal performance, and compact form factor characteristics needed for airborne platform deployment. The companies are evaluating potential applications involving ruggedized aerial and embedded AI platforms.

"Edge AI is moving out of the data center and into the real world, where latency, reliability, and power efficiency decide what is possible," said Dinakar Munagala, CEO of Blaize.

"We evaluate AI technology against the hardest requirements our customers face, and Blaize's technology has demonstrated promising characteristics for selected rugged edge AI use cases under evaluation by Winmate," said Ken Lu, Chairman and CEO of Winmate.

The joint demonstrations will highlight rugged edge AI systems for industrial and mission-critical operations, low-latency AI inference independent of cloud connectivity, unmanned and aerial system applications, and field-based use cases across mission-critical, transportation, maritime, and industrial environments.

Future commercial products, integrations, or deployments remain subject to technical validation, commercial agreement, regulatory considerations, and market conditions, according to the press release statement.
