Blaize Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BZAI) and PT Datacomm Diangraha signed a memorandum of understanding to explore AI inference solutions across Indonesia. The technology alliance was announced during a ceremony at Gitex Asia 2026 in Singapore.

The non-binding MOU outlines cooperation in three areas: AI inference as a service on Datacomm's DCloud platform, physical AI applications for public safety and surveillance, and industrial AI for automation and computer vision.

The companies plan to integrate Blaize's AI platform with Datacomm's cloud infrastructure to provide scalable inference services for enterprise customers. Applications will target physical security, video analytics, smart surveillance, logistics optimization, and industrial automation across Indonesia's enterprise and public sectors.

According to the Empowering Indonesia Report 2025 by Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, sovereign AI could contribute up to $140 billion to Indonesia's GDP by 2030, driving annual economic growth of up to 6.8%. Indonesia's AI sector is expanding at a 31% compound annual growth rate, the fastest in Southeast Asia.

"Asia Pacific is at an inflection point for AI inference, and Indonesia stands out as one of the region's most significant contributors to that growth," said Dinakar Munagala, co-founder and chief executive officer of Blaize.

Tan Wie Tjin, president director and founder of PT Datacomm Diangraha, stated that Indonesia is on the cusp of a significant AI transformation with accelerating demand for intelligent, scalable, and secure inference solutions across every sector the company serves.

Blaize, headquartered in El Dorado Hills, California, develops programmable AI platforms for inference workloads. Datacomm, founded in 1990 and based in South Jakarta, is an IT service provider with over 30 years of experience serving enterprise, telecommunications, government, and military sectors in Indonesia.
