BlackRock announced distributions for 24 closed-end funds with pay dates of November 28, 2025, according to a company press release. The funds distributed amounts ranging from $0.042600 per share for BlackRock Enhanced International Dividend Trust (NYSE: BGY) to $0.281800 per share for BlackRock ESG Capital Allocation Term Trust (NYSE: ECAT).

The funds operate under managed distribution plans that support monthly distributions of income, capital gains and return of capital. For most funds, distribution amounts are fixed and subject to change at the discretion of each fund's board. BlackRock Capital Allocation Term Trust (NYSE: BCAT) and BlackRock ESG Capital Allocation Term Trust base their monthly distributions on an annual rate of 20% of the fund's 12-month rolling average daily net asset value.

Distribution sources varied significantly among the funds. Several funds, including BlackRock Science and Technology Trust (NYSE: BST) and BlackRock Science and Technology Term Trust (NYSE: BSTZ), distributed entirely from long-term capital gains. Other funds relied heavily on return of capital, with BlackRock Health Sciences Term Trust (NYSE: BMEZ) and BlackRock Technology and Private Equity Term Trust (NYSE: BTX) distributing 100% from return of capital.

The company noted that distribution amounts and sources are estimates provided for regulatory compliance and not for tax reporting purposes. Actual amounts for tax purposes will depend on each fund's investment experience during the remainder of the fiscal year and may change based on tax regulations.

BlackRock also announced distributions for an additional 10 closed-end funds, including BlackRock Income Trust (NYSE: BKT) and BlackRock Floating Rate Income Trust (NYSE: BGT), with similar managed distribution structures.
