BTQ Technologies appoints Lionel de Saint-Exupéry to board of directors
BTQ Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: BTQ) announced that Lionel de Saint-Exupéry has been appointed to the company's board of directors and will serve as chair of the audit committee.
De Saint-Exupéry is executive chairman of Saintex Capital Management, a family-owned platform managing capital across public and private markets. He previously served as vice chairman of KGI Financial Holdings, a publicly listed financial holding company in the Asia Pacific region with approximately $10 billion market capitalization, and as chief executive officer of its investment arm, CDIB Capital Group.
During his tenure at KGI and CDIB, de Saint-Exupéry contributed to the group's growth, with total assets increasing from approximately $8 billion in 2006 to $125 billion currently, according to the company statement. Before joining KGI and CDIB in 2006, he worked as a senior banker in the investment banking division of Lehman Brothers in New York and London, participating in more than $45 billion of public and private transactions.
De Saint-Exupéry holds an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in finance and entrepreneurship from France's HEC School of Management.
