Avride, an autonomous driving technology developer, has secured strategic investments and commercial commitments totaling up to $375 million from Uber Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: UBER) and Nebius Group (NASDAQ: NBIS), according to a company statement.

The funding builds on Avride's existing commercial partnership with Uber, established through a multi-year strategic agreement signed in 2024. Avride plans to launch its robotaxi service on the Uber platform in Dallas by the end of 2025.

Avride's delivery robots currently fulfill orders through the Uber Eats platform for hundreds of restaurants in Jersey City, Austin, and Dallas. The company stated the new funding will support fleet expansion, AI-driven product development, and geographic expansion.

"We're excited to continue deepening our partnership with Avride and look forward to introducing their autonomous driving technologies to more people in more markets," said Sarfraz Maredia, Global Head of Autonomous Mobility & Delivery at Uber.

Dmitry Polishchuk, CEO of Avride, said the company has "a clear vision and a strong plan to make autonomous transportation an integral part of everyday life."

Avride, headquartered in Austin, Texas, develops both autonomous cars and delivery robots. The company reported its delivery robots have completed hundreds of thousands of orders in the United States and overseas since beginning operations in 2017.

Nebius Group operates as a technology company building infrastructure for the AI industry, with headquarters in Amsterdam and research and development hubs across Europe, North America, and Israel.
