Aspen Aerogels names Glenn Deegan as Chief Administrative Officer

Aspen Aerogels Inc. (NYSE: ASPN) appointed Glenn Deegan as Chief Administrative Officer, the company announced. Deegan will report to President and Chief Executive Officer Don Young and will be based at the company's Aerogel Technology Center in Northborough, Massachusetts.
In his new role, Deegan will oversee administrative functions including legal, compliance, human resources, and governance. He brings more than 25 years of experience in legal, HR, and transactional leadership.
Deegan previously served as Chief Legal and Human Resources Officer at Altra Industrial Motion Corporation (NASDAQ: AIMC), a global motion control and automation products company with $2 billion in revenue. At Altra, he managed legal, compliance, human resources, and environmental, health, and safety functions for more than 9,000 employees across 100+ legal entities and approximately 50 manufacturing facilities worldwide.
During his tenure at Altra, Deegan played a role in major transactions, including the company's $4.95 billion acquisition by Regal Rexnord Corporation in 2023, along with multiple acquisitions and divestitures.
Deegan holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and an undergraduate degree in applied physics from Providence College.

Aspen Aerogels develops aerogel technology for sustainability and thermal management solutions, with products serving the electric vehicle market and energy infrastructure companies. The company is based in Northborough, Massachusetts.
